Looking ahead, the PGA Tour’s FedEx St. Jude Championship enters the third round with Scottie Scheffler at 11 under, three shots ahead of Viktor Hovland and Sungjae Im. Scheffler tied the TPC Southwind record with a 61 on Friday, making 11 birdies in the playoff opener, where the top 50 advance to Thursday’s BMW Championship. In the WNBA, the league-leading Minnesota Lynx visit the Las Vegas Aces in a meeting of the first two teams to secure playoff spots; Jackie Young enters after scoring a season-high 32 in Las Vegas’ clincher. In MLB, the New York Yankees send Cam Schlittler, carrying a 2.21 ERA, against Braydon Fisher and the Toronto Blue Jays. The NFL preseason offers the Los Angeles Rams at the Kansas City Chiefs, plus the Philadelphia Eagles at the Baltimore Ravens. Beyond the scoreboard, 2026 will be Seattle Seahawks pass rusher DeMarcus Lawrence’s final season, one year after his six sacks and three forced fumbles helped Seattle win Super Bowl LX.
